New Double Live Album : "Live At Ronnie Scott's"
We have waited a long time...but the latest
'Hot News' for 2007 is that a
Brand New Ruby Turner Double Live Album has just been released and is on sale
now!
Over the years, people have constantly requested albums which are unfortunately
no longer available in the shops. Due to this popular demand from her many fans
around the world, she is releasing this fabulous double album "Live At
Ronnie Scott's".
Recorded in the Autumn of 2006, it includes both old hits and recent favourites
from a performance at one of the UK's most prestigious live venues. The Bonus
album was recorded live at the MAC {Midlands Arts Centre} in Ruby's hometown of
Birmingham.
Amongst the many songs on the Album are new live fantastic full-length versions
of "I'd Rather Go Blind" and 'Stay With Me Baby', the latter song
well known for featuring in the popular BBC Drama Series "Comics"
These two songs are by far and away the most requested ones that Ruby is asked
to perform by her many fans, and as such she was determined that they should
make the final edit/cut. The rest of the Album will contain many other timeless
classics spanning over 25 years of Ruby's performances and career to date

Finally - an Easter Message from Ruby
Dear All,
"It is with humbleness and gratitude that I send warm Easter wishes to you
at this special time of the year.
And to say, thank you for the years of loyal support you have shown. It's been
a journey which I can truly say looking back, has been something to remember
and treasure.
Concerts made wonderful because you came to spend your time with us. Songs we
have danced and cried to. Hazardous journey's, battles with the elements, the
lights the sound, stage clothes, the voices in my head, all made possible to
overcome because you cared, helping to uplift and keep the fires burning.
Well 25 years to be precise, is just how long we have been journeying. And so I
hope this live album will evoke some great memories of those bygone days to the
present.
Confidence does not always come easy but it can blossom if we know how to serve
with love and fellowship. God bless and thank you for being a friend to
me." Ruby. .

A few weeks ago, Jools Holland gave a special charity concert at Rochester
Cathedral in the presence of H.R.H. The Prince of Wales
Ruby's Gospel singing qualities were very much in evidence as she performed 3
songs during the concert.
Afterwards, Ruby and the Band were introduced to Prince Charles and the photo
