On tour with Jools Holland...and new Solo Dates
Hello everyone! On behalf of Ruby and the Website Team, I'd like to take
this opportunity to wish you and your families a Happy Christmas and even
happier New Year!
Ruby has been on tour with Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra
for the last 2 months. With just a handful of dates left to go, Ruby is
starting to look forward to putting her feet up and enjoying a well earned
Christmas break.
It won't be too long a break though as the first 2007 Solo Dates in January and
February are already in the diary and up on the website. Here they are :
CD Special : Live Album to be released in 2007!!
We have waited a long time...but the latest 'Hot News' for 2007 is that a Brand New Ruby
Turner Live Album will be released sometime during the year!!
Recorded at one of the three Ronnie Scott's concerts that Ruby performed at in
October, the exact Track Listing is still being worked out but we can confirm
that it will definitely contain fantastic full-length versions of "I'd
Rather Go Blind" and 'Stay With Me Baby', the latter song well known for
featuring in the Lynda La Plante BBC Drama Series "Comics"
These two songs are by far and away the most requested ones that Ruby is asked
to perform by her many fans, and as such she was determined that they should
make the final edit/cut. The rest of the Album will contain many other timeless
classics spanning over 25 years of Ruby's performances and career to date
Obviously watch the website for all latest news....and also log on to Ruby's
Myspace Page early in the year for a possible 'sneak preview' of one or
two of the tracks ahead of the Albums Official release date.

My Christmas message lol......from Queen Ruby ha, ha!
Dear All : Thank you so much for supporting me through the years and helping to
make this job that I do so pleasurable. It is no fun without fun believe me.
You are the ones that keep us wondering minstrels going. So can I take this
opportunity to wish you all a wonderful Christmas and a blessed New Year.
God bless and I 'I'll keep making music as long as you want me to. Much love to
you and your families Ruby .
